AIDS/LifeCycle is a 7-day, 545-mile cycling event from San Francisco to Los Angeles that supports HIV/AIDS services at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center. From the first AIDS/LifeCycle in 2002, through the event’s seventh year in 2008, we managed every aspect of the event’s website.

Using ColdFusion and MySQL, we created tools for thousands of participants to build homepages. Participants sent 275,000 e-postcards and posted 12,000 blog entries, raising more than $40 million over 7 years.

The online donation system we built, which integrated with Verisign Payflow Pro (later PayPal Payflow Pro), securely processed more than 260,000 credit card donations.
