InSTEDD uses open source technology to improve the health, safety and development of vulnerable populations around the world. The Studio was honored to work with them to take their existing WordPress site to the next level, by:
- Extensively redesigning the homepage to better feature the wide range of InSTEDD’s innovative work
- Reworking the site architecture (in conjunction with Whitaker Communications) to make it easier to find their multimedia content
- Deeply integrating WordPress’ custom post types
- Streamlining back-end widgets to make it easier for staff to update the site
- Improving layout throughout the site
- Building a mobile-friendly version of the site
